Two Political Parties, Two Very Different Views About Puerto Rico

Recently, President Barack Obama made a brief, but well-publicized trip to Puerto Rico.  Pundits and political scribes compared his visit to one taken by President John F. Kennedy fifty years ago, the last American President to visit the island.   In glowing terms they described his interest and commitment to the nearly four million Puerto Rican residents.  Unfortunately, like much of what President Obama does, it was long on rhetoric but short on…

Stand up for Allen West!

It is nice to be at a real site that allows me to really write something that I don't have to contribute in order to send a message, that never gets answered. I am writing here because I want to see REPUBLICAN WOMEN TO JUMP ALL OVER THAT WOMAN WHO BAD-MOUTHED ALLEN WEST in a public forum, women who are in posts of responsibility. He is a wonderful man and our party is damn lucky to have him. I don't have any pull, but I'd love to see a woman in our party who does to…

Luis Fortuna, a nominee who can win!!!!

I would ask everyone of interest in the next presidential election to look at the profile of the Governor of Puerto Rico.  He has extremely strong credentials, is a Reaganite to the core and has made incredible sweeping reforms in PR.   Yes, he is eligible to run.

The candidates on the block simply cannot defeat Obama.   The healthcare situation is Massachusetts is a disaster, my original home state, and the dems are waiting to trot out all the people who cannot access medical…

true healthcare reform

In order to get healthcare cost, and healthcare it self under control. We have to remember when we only had "major medical"

(insurance that only paid for hospital related health needs). We all paid out of pocket for doctor office visits, lab work, any test done as outpatient, and prescriptions.

When we complained of a sore throat we were given chicken soup and some lozenge, for a couple of days. Now a child is taken immediately to the pediatrician and given antibiotics for…

What Happened to Tolerance, to the Individual American?

As a women that feels she is a merely a piece played in today's society, I see the world from a different view. Young, maybe a little innocent, but not naive to the elaborate stories of media and the opinion of government. I see many changes in our every day lives, and I see the many issues that not only are found in society, but also the issues within ourselves as individuals. In the big picture we all examine with contemplation, we forget that though we stand out of this large picture,…

DNC Chairman Out of Touch with Women and Reality

The new Chair of the DNC, Congresswoman Debbie wasserman Schultz, said that Republicans are "waging a war against women" because of efforts to defund Planned Parenthood. What do you think? Here's what I think.

We must get the RNC to nominate Republican Congressman Lt Col Allen West

We must get the RNC to nominate Republican Congressman Lt Col Allen West to stand for American President in 2012  as West is a charismatic leader and patriot who will galvanize the Republican base support, and win votes from both the Democrat and Independent bases in my political opinion, and he is the only feasible and viable GOP contender to be able to beat the Obama 2012 Election Machine.

Allen West 2012…

Mr. President

Mr. President Obama.  "You can fool people some of the time and some of the people all the time, but you can not fool all the people all the time.

Celebrating being a republican woman...

The republican party is the party of patriots, the party that will save this country from the brink.  It is the party that holds true to our constitution, our liberties, and most of all our Creator.  Thankfully, we remain prolife, proequality, the party that fought for freedom from slavery, for civil rights, for limitation of government.  I am proud to fight the fight with my fellow republicans.

Celebrate Our History

My name is Sharon Day and I am proud to serve as Co-Chairman of the Republican National Committee. I welcome you to celebrate National Women’s history month with me by discussing the essential role women play in the strengthening of our great Party.

Of the many voting demographics that can be reached through grassroots movements, women are the largest. Since Ronald Reagan’s reelection in 1984, women have consistently… Continue

FED UP with Crap from Obama

Everyone has their breaking point.  Well, I have finally reached mine.

This President has been in Office for 2 years.  And in my opinion he has done nothing for the American people.

I am not talking about the billions he wasted on the stimulus, or the billions he wasted on healthcare, or any other nonsense he has tired to push over on us.

What he has done, which Donald Trump put so well the other day is that he has kissed everyones ass, but the American…

A call for help to start a call to action:

Where are the protesters now?

I watched this video earlier this evening, and it really got me to start thinking. Well, not really to 'start' thinking because since the decision to declare a 'No-Fly Zone', I've been curious why this particular declaration of war is not being contested by the media & the general American public; this video just put some pictures & witty…

Those Who Serve

In the everyday hustle and bustle of the 24 hour news cycle, we too often forget that the men and women who serve in Congress are not just politicians. The events of the past few days reminded us in heartbreaking fashion that those we elect to represent us were are someone’s mother, daughter, father or son long before they were become a Representative or Senator.

The sacrifices made by members of Congress to serve the people they represent are enormous. Those who step forward to run… Continue

Republican Women get things done!

I have lived in only two states in my entire life; Massachusetts and now New York.  Both "Blue" states.  I remember when I turned 18 that I went straight to our town courthouse and registered Republican.  I have never looked back.  I have always been proud to be a Republican and it has never been easy living in largely Democrat states.  My reason for my love of party is the women in the RNC.  We are skilled, we are determined, we don't whine, we get things done!  We can change a diaper,…

Respect for the Constitution

With a simple step yesterday, the new Republican majority in the U.S. House showed that things are no longer business as usual in Congress.

For the first time in the history of the institution, the Constitution was read aloud on the floor of the U.S. House. From the preamble to the Bill of Rights and through all of the amendments, our nation’s founding document was read aloud by members of Congress from both parties.

A hallmark of the Pelosi Congress was its effort to enact… Continue
