Thank you for adding me. Hawaii? It must be so beautiful out there.

Thank you for inviting me to be your friend. I live in Oklahoma about 50 miles S of Oklahoma City in the country. I work for a Family Physician about 7 miles from my home. I am single w/ a companion whom I have been with for 15 yrs. He is from Iran & has been here about 25 yrs & is a citizen. Have 3 kids, 5 grandkids & 3great grandkids. Just hoping the kids & grandkids have a chance for a future w/o socialism.

August is a really bad time to be in Austin - hot and muggy! I live up in the panhandle which is about a 7 hour drive from Austin. It gets hot here, too, but not quite as humid. I hope to visit Hawaii someday, maybe with my kids.

Hi Bonnie. Thank you for the warm welcome. I am so happy I discovered a site where I can chat with like minded women. My mother got remarried in Maui 2 years ago, and I was so unhappy I was unable to attend. I was able to see the beautiful pictures and hear all about the wonderful food your state has to offer.

I, too, am jealous of your location. I've never been to Hawaii, but maybe someday. I live in the panhandle of Texas where it's flat for miles, but we have the most beautiful sunsets ever.

Thank you for the welcome! I am jealous of your location; although quite traveled, I have never been to Hawaii! I reside in Boston, Massachusetts and cherish my R&R time on Martha's Vineyard!
