2009 RNC Women's Summit

On Thursday, June 25, 2009, the Republican National Committee kicked off our Women’s Program with the first annual Women’s Summit, held at the Capitol Hill Club in Washington, DC. The mission of the RNC Women’s Program is to recruit, register, train and sustain a strong base of women activists and candidates to build the Republican Party, portray the GOP as the automatic option for female voters and win elections.

Over 280 women from across the country attended the Summit. They were nominated to attend by their RNC Members or their Members of Congress and are leaders within their state parties, volunteers who continue to shine throughout each election cycle and new supporters who are interested in expanding their role within the Party. The RNC is counting on these women to implement the goals of the Women’s Program within their states and territories and to be the face of the Program across the country.

Hello 35-50 year old Republican Woman, yes we do exist. We need to be heard, and let the Democrat woman know their values on raising kids, drug usage, and laid back attitude isn't what will help the our future of our children.... Speak up, Speak out.

Women throughout this country are hungry for access, information, and direction to get this country back on track. This is a great way to let us all focus on issues, and provide an opportunity for everyone to participate! Technology is going to make democracy so exciting. Glad we are taking such positive action. Thanks, Jan!
