Biography
Janet is a Republican who was raised with Republican values. Janet moved to Connecticut in 1984 and has chosen to live, work and raise her son in her adopted state.

Janet is a journalist. For more than two decades she covered the issues and stories concerning people around the state of Connecticut. Janet is a small business owner who has learned firsthand how big government stifles growth.

Janet is community oriented. For 26 years she has given her time to serve on boards for various non-profits, attend and M-C events and help those less fortunate. She is currently on the Board of Directors for the Connecticut Women's Hall of Fame, The Girl Scouts of Connecticut and the Board of Advisors for The Hartford Art School at the University of Hartford and Margreta Stage Company.
