Biography
Born in southern California the youngest of four sisters, Janet
married her husband, Joe Contreras, and raised five wonderful
children over the course of their 18-year marriage. Today, Janet is
a strong voice in Arizona for securing America’s borders and
demanding the federal government fulfill its role to protect our
nation’s sovereignty.
For sixteen years, Janet Contreras worked for General Motors, after
which she followed the American dream of entrepreneurship and
opened her own business: Commercial Food & Beverage of San
Jose. The company flourished under her ownership and eventually she
sold the firm to an investor group.
Following her successful career in business, Janet returned to
school and earned a degree in computer science. In 2003, in the
midst of Arizona’s high-tech boom, Janet moved to Phoenix and
worked her way up the ladder to the senior position of network
administrator for a large, local aviation firm here in the valley,
Perform Air International, where she continues to this day.
