Biography
Ann Brickley is a lifelong resident of Connecticut. She earned her
BS and MS degrees in Engineering from the University of Connecticut
and is a licensed Professional Engineer. She is the mother of two
young men.
Ann brings a unique perspective to politics. She worked for United
Technologies, is a former GE executive and has been solving
business problems for all of her professional life. She led
business process improvement for a GE Division, and owns her own
consulting firm where she helps businesses improve quality and
productivity to become more competitive.
For over 30 years Ann has been solving business problems,
eliminating waste and implementing best practices - the kind of
experience that is needed in Congress today.
In August, Ann won the Republican nomination for US Representative
in Connecticut’s First Congressional District by a wide margin and,
if elected, will be the first Republican elected from this District
in 54 years.
Ann is running for Congress because she believes the country is
heading in the wrong direction. She will bring common sense
solutions to help small businesses create jobs, cut government
spending, reduce the size scope and cost of government, and ensure
that solutions address the causes of the problems.
