Prop 8 Overturned in California. Where is the discussion?

This week a San Fransisco District Court judge overturned Proposition 8, a reforendum passed in 2008 banning same-sex marriage in the state of California. What are your thoughts? Should it matter what someone else does in their romantic life, as long as it doesn't directly affect you? Statistics show more lesbian women are applying for marriage licenses than gay men. It makes sense that this issue would be important to this website's forum. Where does RNC.Women stand on the issue?

the will of the majority got denied and the politically correct was ruled upon. We'll see what the supreme court has to say about it. If it is upheld then what is going to stop brothers and sisters or father and daughters frm asking for the same privileges? There will no end to this. We have a unique constitution in this country. it si not a European constitution.
In God we trut. We are ruled by that instrument alone not by Bush not by Clinton or Obama. I am not a religious "fanatic" but if I want all of my rights preserved according to the constitution then I have to follw it to the letter. There is no picking and choosing to my heart's content. Marriage is between a man and a woman and incest is illegal. end of story. What you want to do in your privacy is your business and you are protected there too.
