This week marked the six-month anniversary of the passage of ObamaCare. How do you feel about a bureaucrat getting between you and your doctor?

I really can't see a bureaucrat getting between me and anything!! I believe the conservative outcry in the primaries and the upcoming victories in November will settle any chances of full-blown ObamaCare.
I have 3 people, GOD first, my husband, and my physican
and not my government. I was promised if I like my insurance I could keep it and I do like mine. Mr. Obama forgot to say but the insurance would not be able to meet all their standard and everyone would have to meet the governments rules which we all know is impossible.l Please everyone Vote to remove all those who voted on this
"once the cut is made in Medicare." Aren't the elderly also in need?
Isn't insurance for underprivileged people" medicaid? It's a lie to say we have not been "providing" for them.
It's difficult to understand how ObamaCare will successfully be funded. With the highlest levels of unemployment, stimulas monies going to the world, and tarp, it's unthinkable of how ObamaCare will be funded in 5 - 10 - 30 years from now. The US Constitution does not say healthcare entitlements are for all persons living with in our border.
Reply to: Laurel Marris: "Please read the constitution. It states that the welfare for the common person should be provided for a better life."

I looked up what you stated above and it is NOT in the constitution. The only clause that even mentions welfare is first in the Preamble and secondly, Section 8 Powers of Congress in the first of the 18 enumerated powers "The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States;""
From Article I, Section 8:

"The Congress shall have the Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the COMMON DEFENSE AND GENERAL WELFARE OF THE UNITED STATES...."

It doesn't guarantee individuals a better life, rather that Congress should act at all times in ways that make the NATION better.
Healthcare insurance should be a totally independent purchase; like car insurance. buy the plan that best suits you and not your employer. Free market competition creates the best choices and services, and the employee would not be tied to any one employer or governed by incompetence.
Amen, amen, amen.
Unfortunately my healthcare situation is not better because of the ObamaCare implementation. Instead of being unable to get healthcare because of pre-existing conditions, I am now unable to get it because it COST too much. The same old mess with a different color pooper scooper.
ha ha ha... grants from where? Obama's 'stash'... they going to print money or just take it from the 'rich' and give it to you? Wake up my dear... YOU are rich compared to EVERYONE in the world... he wants us in CAVES so he can send our money to Africa or Brazil or Mexico... to GIVE you something first the government must TAKE it from someone else... GOT THAT?
in the interest of all americans this movement for obamacare must be stopped. being disabled i have never had issues with my medical needs. now forced into medicare i can't have the medications that work in my best interest. my husband runs a family buisness that has been in ri since the late 1800's. never did he imagine not being capable of continuing my blue cross benefits. three cancers and fear of what the future holds. the worse time possible for an amature playing hard ball. don't need him on our team Team America
