America is going to hell in a handbasket. The future for my children and grandchildren is decidely bleak under the current administration. Help bring America back to its roots, heritage, and moral values! It is OUR responsibility to take action to stop this out-of-control spending and reckless liberal agenda.

People who do NOT vote, do vote--they vote for the power-hungry by refusing to take the time to educate themselves on an election and vote. Yes, sometimes there is NO real choice to vote FOR. In that case one can do a write-in, vote for a third party candidate to make a protest, or vote for the "lesser of two evils." There are ALWAYS (on "Presidential" and "midterm" elections) OTHER candidates and propositions WORTHY of voting on so the lazy response of "none of the above" doesn't cut it because it's not like NOT ordering dessert--we WILL have results and CONSEQUENCES from elections. If someone genuinely sees nothing to vote for, it's also a sign he needs to get more involved in the process. Be a Precinct Committeeman; find a decent candidate for the next election cycle and do something to help him get elected; adopt at least ONE major issue and work towards getting the right thing done. Just refusing to participate means that those who want power have YOUR vote because you're not actively blocking them. The Republicans have a LOT to answer for and they need to get busy on Constitutional issues, but the Dems have been thoroughly co-opted and as I'm finding out from more contact with Dems, they really do NOT get personal responsibility or the Constitution. So even if the Republican cadndidate has a lot to learn, he may have less to UNlearn.

Mothers do not have the option to opt out of participation. We do not negect the caring of our children and grandchildren. It's what we do. My youngest children are (twins) 25 years of age. All four children and their spouses, the ones that have them, are busy raising their own or establishing careers. I am now in a position that gives me time and ability to study and keep them and others informed. I'm in a position to stand up for them in areas where they can not stand for themselves. I do get very tired of 'POLITICIN' at times, but it's where I find myself now and am glad to help. But, even if I weren't glad to help, I would do it anyway because a mother's job is never done and I'm an American. We won't go down without a fight. Black Panthers with attitude don't have anything on mad mothers with love and honor.

It's time from grandparent's, aunts, uncles, and cousins, all need to be involved in raising our children. We need to start coming together as a family unit where we help raise grandchildren and help grown children if they have to work. I lived in Santa Clara County aka Silicon Valley where the majority of adult children from India or Asia had their parent's help raise the grandchildren while the parent's worked. They grandparent's helped with all the household chores. My mom helped my husband and I raise our children and because of this, my children learned respect, are stable, and see the importance of family.

We women have a responsibility to vote. Women lead the fight in most battles as we are quick to let our voice be heard. Our children and future depend on conservative women taking time out to vote. We earned the right by one vote, but we can lose many rights by failing to vote!

If we don't vote and the liberal left continues to be in power, more of our freedoms will be lost. For example, Hillary Clinton signed a small arms treaty with the UN, next it will be our own guns that we aren't allow to own. Obama has already restricted some rifles. We will be taxed to death to pay for the entitlement projects certain people feel the government is obligated to supply for them. Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness is already demonized in that if you are a successful business person making lots of money, you're an evil capitalist who doesn't care about the poor. When big goverment mandates what our children will learn and more importantly what they WON'T, they lose out on the freedom of information about our past. The liberals will mandate that we can no longer eat, salt, sugar, trans-fat (already laws in some states) yet it's ok to supply illegal aliens with food stamps and housing assistance. The sale of cats and dogs is illegal in SanFransisco because there are too many strays, yet it is a sanctuary city for illegals, some of whom are wanted criminals. It will only get worse.....Our own homes are at risk of government take over if they decide that your property would be best suited for the "greater good of the community" and force you to move at "their" price. The democrats have bankrupted the social security and medicare banks by their own ruling yet claim the republicans don't want to help the poor. Our politicians no longer vote according to the will of the peole. Obamacare NEVER would have passed if they did. It's time we got some cajones and stand up for our rights. "If we don't stand for something, we will fall for anything."

I agree with your many points ... I'm still wondering why we have NOT heard all of the draconian laws are in the healthcare legislation -- I have heard that there is an extra 3.8% when ou sell or buy a house ... that will further kill the housing industry and related jobs and prosperity.
I know they have five paragraphs regarding the start of a "civilian army" -- why? What use could the government have by starting another military wing ... and who will serve in this wing? Acorn people? We have no idea what's in the 2,000 presidential laws that were signed over the night he came into office.
Before Obama came into office, Michalle stated: Barack is going to come into office and make sweeping changes before anyone knows what hits them ... we (citizens) will NOT be happy, but it will be too late to go back. But these changes are good for us!"
Why would she be given an $80 billion dollar budget to change the way we eat ... when she could have served as a spokesperson and not charged a dime!
Look at the money being spent to take the White House and staff to India to rent the entire Taj Mahal -- this spending is insane and corrupt!

We can't let it stop after the elections! Our President is campaigning not only for Democratic Congress people he wants, but for himself. Remember he started campaigning after he made that speech way back in 2003, I think, at the Democratic Convention when Kerry was running for President. Shortly after that, he decided to run for President. Well, he is doing it again. We have to be vigilent and start right away in January stratigizing for our Candidate we see who is Strong. We must!!!

We need to get rid of medicare, social security, free highways, public schools and all the things that the liberals support. Let's get back to our roots, people should pay their own way. Seniors should have saved enough to live on instead of using social security. All those folks on unemployment are lazy, they should get off their seats and find work. State supported colleges and financial aide are another liberal program, people should be thrifty and pay for their children's education. I am sure that good conservatives do not use any of these hand outs, we take care of our own. All this talk about improving highways using our tax dollars is irresponsible, people should be willing to pay when they use highways. Let's vote to bring in the Tea Party, they will lead those willing to work to the promised land.

Social Security and Medicare restructuring would be very simple. The democrats shoot it down constantly saying Republicans want people to "day trade" with their money and end up poor. Why does this country fall for this?
We all pay into Social Security and Medicare -- and so it's not free. Social secuurity is an investment account, like a 401K plan ... however, it's failing because the government is spending it. Solutions for people having retirement money of THEIR OWN and not being a burden on the government is very important. Some ideas could be:
* Each citizens pays into Social Security as they currently do, however, monies are paid into their own "individual account" that is in a "lock box" the government can't rob.
* Citizens with secure retirement savings can "opt out."
* Quarterly statements will be sent showing growh at a "compounded" interest rate."
* Only several options for secure optimal savings will be offered, it will NOT be a trading account and can only be removed for retirement purposes.
* Since this investment will render an abundant return for retirement on it's own, employers do NOT have to contribute to social security for citizens.
* Businesses need to make money to hire people, innovate ideas and manufacture and conduct business.
* The more successful a company is on it's own, the better for US job creation and companies in America instead of having to flee overseas to find lower-scale pay workers.
The same idea could apply to Medicare -- medical savings accounts are the answers ... so, that we can all take care of ourselves, pay our doctors for the TOP medical treatment we receive in the US. The insurance companies are the ones that charge such high fees and the doctors are being penalized by late Medicare payments -- many of them are thinking of leaving the business.
This is a sorry and evil situation we find ourselves in under the power of greedy power-hungry liberals. By the way, aren't democrats upset that their party is now progressive? I would imagine many democrats don't even now what being a progressive is ... they should find out - it's not good.
Hillary Clinton brags about being the original progressive and starting Media Matters ... watch out folks!
