I am not sure if you are my age, but when I was a teenager back in the late 60's-70's and for many before me,prior years, we we worked as bus boys, waitresses, gas stations, stocking shelves in retail, clean what ever the businesses needed, delivering groceries, mowing lawns, baby sitting etc., etc..... you get the picture. Today, the people who do those jobs are immigrants from Mexico or other poor countries who come over and take those jobs along with another additional low paying job that once use to go to our teenagers as entry level work, where they use to learn "how to work and grow into responsible adults". Instead, now, immigrant adults are taking these jobs for survival and we have created a class of poor in urban areas. Our own teenagers or American adults can't even get into these jobs because they are going to immigrants. For older adults, we are over qualified. Now as far as high tech goes, many corporations in the past 20 years, they hired engineers, scientist, doctors, nurses etc., etc., from India, China, Phillipines, etc., etc.... BECAUSE CHEAP LABOR and they were educated!!!!! After two years they are allowed to stay starting with the green card, then citizenship. From there, they bring their families over. Again, we who do everything right, so we think, go to school, get educated in jobs that we think will last through our life time, but towards our midlife, we are too expensive for corporations, so we get laid off. Now, the Unions want these people from China, India etc... to work for them because it adds to their bottom line. Again, we will be misplaced because we cost too much in preks. So, my point is lobbyist both corporations or unions want lobby strong to the politicians to allow them to do this. Corporations and Unions always say they need "brain power" and the politicians go along with it. However, you watch, once the economy picks up, you will see politicians open the flood gates for them to let illegals and H1B Visas come over like crazy to fill these job spot shortages because the excuse will be there aren't enough educated people OR teenagers in our country to fill these jobs. The politicians then say we need these people to fill the social security coffers for us Americans. There aren't enough American children being born to do it, so immigrants have to do it for us if we want taxes for social security and medicare or other bennies. This all started in the mid 60's of birth control and Ted Kennedy passing an immigration bill.

OMG! Reader beware!!!! Our so fantastic governator Mr. Arnold Schwarzenegger wants to go work for the Obama adminstration once his term is up here in our state! ANOTHER KENNEDY!!!! I thought we were rid of them! He is the one who pushed. and we voted and passed-like fools-for more stricter environmental laws because of "GLOBAL WARMING" ! Now we will be paying for it with alot "HIGER UTILITY COSTS all the way around! We already pay high utility cost, gas, food, etc., etc...... And environmental regulations saddling businesses because of this European fool! Voter beware when he starts advising Obama over the next few years! There is a Kennedy clan,two, three or more advising him to whisper in the presidents ear.

Its fine for people who are effectively employed to see the benefits of the tax cut.
However, employment generation is another aspect that needs to be taken care of.

I want to say "Happy New Year" to all of you wonderful women who have to make a change for our grandchildren.
The changes I would love to see is: bringing back families two parents raising their own children, grandparent's helping families and their grandchildren, mental health for our children due to the distruction of the families over the last 30 to 100 years from alcohol, drugs, the marxist/socialist thinking, and our education. I would like to see change in getting rid of regulations that strangle our lives and businesses, especially EPA ( what is happening in CA due to us CUTTING DOWN on using electricity-our rates are going up because we aren't using enough electricity! We have to pay the bondholders first. Then they can take care of our failing infrastructure and shove wind-turbines and solar panels to feed our use while EPA control our use. CRAZY! I would like to see changes in the corrupt UNION THUGS along with Wall Street thugs taking us prisoners by stripping us of our taxes because they misuse our good-will and generosity trusting them to run our finances and our municipalities smoothly! I would like to see COMMON SENSE in our lives again! Save our kids from the need to take drugs and supporting the Cartel, street thugs, and preditors screwing them up and fall farther from us. Mothers be involved, be involved- question the teachers and schools-fill in the gaps that the schools don't teach, look at the parents of your children friends . How disfunctional are the parent's! Many of those kids need saving, but watch the influence they are to your child. Help if you can but beware! Adopt an unwed mother and child to turn someones life around. Tell your husbands to mentor the son/s of a single mother. They can't learn from their mother's how to be a good boyfriend, husband, or father. It's time to start paying attention our boys NOW!!!!!! It is okay to teach our kids to use their hands and learn to build from the ground up. I am tired of thinking EVERYONE HAS TO HAVE A COLLEGE DEGREE, AND GETTING OUR CHILDREN AND FAMIlIES INTO HUGE DEBT!!!! College is great, but they can learn to work for their college and learn how business are run from the ground up. I want them to have the same dreams as us, and they can't do it with huge college debt. Don't coddle your kids! Love them but don't be their friends and be like them. It's okay to be a parent ! Let go with love, but while they are young we should be the one's to mold them not the Government, friends, or strangers.
Happy New Years and let this be the beginning of a new generation for the good of our country!

I am happy with the extended tax cut. However, I would had prefered it to be permanet. Especially, for the small business owners. I believe this would allow business owners to free up some of their money to hire more employees. Two years is not long enough.
